Great Economic News for Louisville


Great Economic News Comes to Louisville as Natron Wood Products brings 200 jobs. Governor Phil Bryant, Senator Roger Wicker, US Representatives Alan Nunnelee and Greg Harper joined local officials today (May13) in welcoming the Oregon based firm Natron Wood Products to Louisville and Mississippi. Press Release, May 13, 2013, Louisville, Miss. -  Gov. Bryant was on hand Monday with local and company officials to announce Natron Wood Products locating to Louisville, Miss., in Winston County.  The operations will be located in a 265,000-square-foot existing facility, and represent a company investment of $10 million and will create more than 200 new jobs.

LFD Member Receives Gary Kistler Life Safety Award

Engineer/Fire & Life Safety Educator Detrick Sanders has been awarded the Gary Kistler Life Safety Award for 2013.Mr. Sanders has been a career member of the Louisville Fire Department since 2007 and took the role of Fire & Life Safety Educator in 2011.
