Winston Plywood Update Jan 24


Foundations:
· No work this week

Site Utilities:
· No work this week

Buildings:
· Continued hanging doors and installing door hardware

Racetrack Piping:
· Connected potable and non-potable water to racetrack piping

High Voltage Electrical:
· Continued work on punch list items

Low Voltage Electrical:
· Continued installing lighting in Buildings 8 & 11
· Continued pulling tray cable throughout buildings
· Continued installing exterior building lighting
· Continued setting MCC’s and installing power cables
· Continued terminations in Electrical Rooms

Hog Room, Glue Room, Chipper Deck:
· Removed shoring supports for chipper deck concrete floor
· Began installing stairs at glue room (over first floor wall) and to elevated tank floor
· Continued laying blocks on glue room first floor walls
· Placed grout in block walls on Chipper Deck Electrical Room

Plant Build-Out:
· Continued laying block wall on Column Line “F” (East side of Building 3)
· Continued laying block wall beneath mezzanine at breakroom and restrooms
· Installed HVAC ductwork below mezzanine floor at breakroom and restrooms

Plant Piping:
· Began installing steam piping to Dryers No. 1 and 2

Site Paving:
· Received concrete for continuation of paving
· Performed fine grading to continue site paving east of building

Fire Protection System:
· Continued work on installing valve boxes in roadway on east side and south sides of plywood building
· Continued installing piping from main fire line into fill pump for fire tank
· Continued installing underground piping around fire tank to main fire pump

Log Conditioning Vaults:
· Continued wet curing concrete slab for vaults 11, 12, 13, & 14
· Continued placing backfill sand and select fill material around water storage tank walls
· Assembled and placed form system for first vault wall, and began installing wall embedded steel
· Continued pre-tying rebar mats for vault concrete walls

Log Pro Equipment Foundations:
· Continued placing fabric and stone for Log Pro foundation section No. 3
· Began installing rebar mats and embedded steel plates in foundation section No. 3

Winston Plywood and Utility:
· Continued work on refurbishing and installing Lathes No. 1 & 2
· Worked on assembly of Lathe Charger No. 1
· Continued work on refurbishing Dryers No. 1 & 2
· Continued work on electrical installation at Green-End equipment

Winston Plywood Update 1-17-16


Foundations:

· Set forms and placed rebar for new charger foundation at Lathe No. 2

Site Utilities:

· Continued installing fire suppression valve boxes on underground piping in area to allow additional paving on east and south sides of plywood building

Buildings:

· Completed gutters on Building 2

· Continued downspouts on Buildings 2, 3, 5, & 9

· Installed roof curbs for boiler stacks in Building 7

· Continued installing Personnel Doors and Rollup Doors on exterior of building

· Continued installing finish trim on buildings 5 and 10


Racetrack Piping:

· Began work on raising piping over circulating fan motors on Dryers No. 1 & 2


High Voltage Electrical:

· Began work on punch list items


Low Voltage Electrical:

· Continued installing lighting in Buildings 3, 8, & 11

· Continued pulling tray cable throughout buildings

· Continued conduit rough-in for block walls in breakrooms, restrooms, and maintenance shop areas

· Continued installing exterior building lighting

Hog Room, Glue Room, Chipper Deck:

· Placed block walls on chipper deck electrical room


Plant Build-Out:

· Filled block at office, restrooms, and breakroom areas with grout

· Began laying block on Column Line F between Buildings 3 and 6, 6A & 7

· Continued installing plumbing rough-in for breakroom and restroom areas; performed pressure test on copper lines on west break room area

Plant Piping:

· No work this week

Site Paving:

· No work this week


Fire Protection System:

· Installed valve boxes in roadway on east side of plywood building

· Installed piping from fire tank fill pump to fire water holding tank


Log Conditioning Vaults:

· Correction for last week’s report:

1. Placed concrete slab for vaults 8, 9, & 10

2. Continued placing rebar for slabs in vaults 11, 12, 13, & 14

· Placed concrete slab for vaults 11, 12, 13, & 14

· Placed balance of concrete walls in water recovery tank and began removing forms from walls following placement

· Began placing backfill sand around water recover tank walls


Log Pro Equipment Foundations:

· Placed fabric and began placing stone for Log Pro foundation section No. 3


Winston Plywood and Utility:

· Continued work on refurbishing and installing lathes No. 1 & 2

· Continued work on refurbishing dryers No. 1 & 2
