Building Community Relationship Meeting-Sept 10

There will be a Community Relationship Meeting held Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. from the Mt. Moriah M.B Church in Louisville, Mississippi.

The purpose of this meeting is to help build a better relationship between Citizens and Law Enforcement Agencies. Louisville Police Chief L.M. Claiborne will be present to help informs us om ways to help better these relationships. He will be giving us important tips and demonstrating proper procedure for both Citizens and Law Enforcement Agencies. The public is welcome to attend.

Winston Plywood Weekly Update 8-12-16


Hog, Glue Room, and Chipper Deck:
·         Continued insulating water piping to eye-wash stations

Low Voltage Electrical:
·         Continued installing conduit and wiring to breakroom / restrooms / offices at mezzanine area, west side break & restroom area, and in shipping office
·         Continued installing fire alarm system on metal wall at mezzanine and maintenance shop area
·         Continued electrical installation at fire pump buildings

Plant Build-Out:
·         Continued installation of HVAC unit at shipping office, MCC rooms and glue loft area
·         Began installing ceiling grid in upstairs offices at mezzanine area
·         Continued installing ceiling grid in west-side lunch room
·         Installed metal roof decking over west side lunch room
·         Installed ceiling tile in west side lunchroom
·         Received and began installing millwork in east side offices and lunch room
·         Continued finish painting in east side offices and lunch room

Site Paving:
·         Continued draining water from west side light duty paving

East Side & West Side Residuals:
·         Continued installing ductwork to equipment inside building (dry hogs, trim-saws, sander)
·         Continued installing support steel and equipment for west side residuals (fans and blowers)

Winston Plywood Update 8-5-16


Hog, Glue Room, and Chipper Deck:
·         Continued installing piping and valves at glue make-up and storage area
·         Completed installation of emergency eye wash station at glue room and caustic unloading area
·         Began  insulating water piping to eye-wash stations

Low Voltage Electrical:
·         Continued installing conduit and wiring to breakroom / restrooms / offices at mezzanine area, west side break & restroom area, and in shipping office
·         Continued installing fire alarm system on metal wall at mezzanine and maintenance shop area
·         Completed installation of power wiring from primary feeder line to WSR transformer, and from transformer to MCC unit inside West-Side Residuals electrical building

Log Pre-Conditioning Vaults:
·         Removed temporary safety fence and installed permanent safety fencing around perimeter of vault water storage pit & vault water return trench to storage pit
·         Installed safety fencing around perimeter of top of vault concrete structure

Plant Build-Out:
·         Began installing toilet accessories in east-side restrooms
·         Continued installing door hardware throughout east and west side restroom and break areas
·         Continued installation of HVAC unit at shipping office, MCC rooms and glue loft area
·         Began installing ceiling grid in upstairs offices at mezzanine area
·         Installed ceiling grid in west-side lunch room
·         Installed sink in QC room (TECO Lab)

Site Paving:
·         Continued excavation and placement of stone for paving between vaults and log infeed deck
·         Finished layout and preparation for placement of reinforcing steel between vaults and log infeed deck for paving
·         Placed concrete paving and performed sawcutting in area between vaults and log infeed deck

East Side & West Side Residuals:
·         Continued installing ductwork to equipment inside building (dry hogs, trim-saws, sander)
·         Continued installing ductwork to truck bins on west-side residual

Foundations:
·         Continued making repairs to old floor slab (North side of No. 1 dryer and along building column line E)

Site Utilities:
·         Completed placing concrete in treads on stairs at lathe access areas

Northeast Corner – Log Ramp Construction Area:
·         Removed material, graded area, and set forms between vaults and tree-length deck for paving

·         Installed roll-up door at south end of second floor elevation in glue room

Low Voltage Electrical:

·         Continued installing fire alarm system on metal wall at mezzanine and maintenance shop area

Log Pre-Conditioning Vaults:
·         Continued placing plywood blocks inside vaults for heating and peeling
·         Heated water in vault water holding tank by circulating through heat exchangers
·         Pumped water onto logs in vaults and heated logs
·         Installed temporary fencing around perimeter of vault water holding pit and along north side of vault water drainage trench

Plant Build-Out:
·         Continued installing bathroom fixtures in west-side restrooms
·         Placed concrete in stair treads and lands on stairs at west side of mezzanine area
·         Continued installing door hardware throughout east and west side restroom and break areas
·         Continued installation of HVAC unit at shipping offices

Site Paving:
·         Continued excavation and placement of stone for paving between vaults and log infeed deck

RTO Rebuild:
·         Continued installing insulation on RTO duct (completed south side and continued on ID fan and stack)
·         Began insulating ID fan and RTO stack
·         Continued installing conduit and power to RTO duct controls and devices

East Side & West Side Residuals:
·         Continued fabricating and installing guards for conveyor drive units
·         Continued installing ductwork to truck bins on west-side residuals
·         Set cyclone down-comer piping on both cyclones
·         Set rotary feeders for high pressure blowers

Winston Plywood & Veneer:
·         Continued running logs through debarker and cut-up system, and kicked blocks out into log pockets
·         Continued placing logs in vaults and heating logs for peeling at Lathe No. 2
·         Continued checkout and peeling hot blocks on Lathe No. 2
·         Continued checkout on No. 2 lathe line equipment (lathe, clipper, & stacker)
·         Continued checkout and tuning on Log Pro equipment
·         Continued installing piping from glue room to lay-up line equipment
·         Continued installing trash conveyor for lay-up line to hog room
·         Continued details on installation of Dryer No. 1 & 2 infeed and outfeed sections
·         Continued testing dryer infeed systems and main dryer chains and rolls in No. 1 & 2 dryers
·         Continued installing glue lay-up line mechanical and electrical equipment
·         Continued details on installing trim-saw equipment
