MINUTES OF A PUBLIC HEARING
OF THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE
HELD ON THE 23RD DAY OF SEPTEMBER 2014
A
public hearing of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Louisville was
held at five-thirty o’clock p.m. on the 23rd day of September 2014, at the City
Hall, pursuant to publication of notice of said hearing. The purpose of the hearing is to provide the
general public with an opportunity to comment on the proposed development
of housing in Academy Park on land owned by the City.
The
following officers were present: Honorable Will Hill, Mayor; Frances S. Ball,
Richard R. Caperton, Judy H. McLeod, Gwenita Mays, Eugene Crosby, Aldermen;
Babs W. Fulton, City Clerk and C. Taylor Tucker, City Attorney. A roster of those in
attendance is attached as Exhibit “A” to these minutes the same as if recopied
herein in full in words and figures.
The meeting was duly opened and called to
order by the Mayor. Frances S. Ball opened
with prayer and Mayor Will Hill led in the Pledge of Allegiance and presided
over the meeting. The floor was open for
discussion and comments to all those in attendance concerning the proposed
housing development on certain land owned by the city which is Academy
Park.
No
action was taken at the meeting. The public hearing was recessed by the Mayor
until Thursday, September 25, at 5:30 p.m.
