Winston Plywood Update Feb 19

Foundations: 

· No work this week

Site Utilities:

· Continued installing protective pipe bollards around fire hydrants

· Continued flushing and testing fire protection loop and sprinkler systems

Buildings:

· Building contractor onsite to address warranty issues with building leaks

Racetrack Piping:

· Continued installing insulation on branch lines from racetrack

· Final inspection was conducted on racetrack trusses and piping. No issues were noted. Hydro test are to be performed on piping.

High Voltage Electrical:

· No work this week

Low Voltage Electrical:

· Continued installing lighting fixtures in Buildings 6, 6A, & 7

· Continued install cable tray and pulling tray cable throughout buildings

· Continued terminations in Electrical Rooms

· Continued installing electrical conduits to Chipper Deck Electrical Room

· Began installing lights in glue room and hog room

Hog Room, Glue Room, Chipper Deck:

· Installed roll-up doors to hog room (2 ea)

· Placed concrete fill in stair treads that access second floor and roof of glue room

· Continued work on HVAC ductwork in glue room

Plant Build-Out:

· Continued installing HVAC branch lines on ductwork at west-side breakrooms and restrooms

· Continued laying block on walls at east-side restrooms, breakroom, boiler room, and air compressor room

Plant Piping: 

· Continued installing steam piping to Dryers No. 1, 2, and 3

· Continued installing steam piping along east building wall to green-end and vaults

Site Paving: 

· No work this week

Fire Protection System:

· Began filling fire water storage tank with water

· Continued flushing underground fire look and sprinkler systems

Log Conditioning Vaults:

· Continued pre-tying rebar mats for vault concrete walls

· Formed and placed west wall for Vault No. 10

· Completed forming and placed concrete for corner and north wall on Vault No. 7

· Completed form work, installed rebar, and placed floor slabs for Vaults No. 14, 15, and 16

· Began installing rebar mats for floor slab on Vaults 17, 18, 19, and 20

· Began moving forms forward for next vault wall

Log Pro Equipment Foundations:

· Received final design on log deck vertical wall

Equipment Foundations (East and West Residuals):

· Formed, placed, and finished truck bin foundation slab

· Continued work on refurbishing and installing Lathes No. 1 & 2

· Completed assembly and installed Lathe Charger No. 1

· Continued work on refurbishing Dryers No. 1 & 2

· Continued installation of cable tray for green-end power wiring

· Continued work on electrical installation at Green-End equipment conduit and power

· Continued assembly and installation of Dryer No. 3 (I/F and O/F Sections)

· Continued fabricating structural support steel for step-feeders and lathe infeed equipment

· Continued installing electrical conduit from electrical room to Log Pro equipment (unistrut, cable tray, and conduit)

· Continued installing electrical conduit from electrical room to Green-End equipment

· Continued setting support steel for Log Pro Equipment

· Set debarker frame on support steel

· Installed singulator, infeed conveyor, and tunnel conveyor to debarker

· Continued installing by products drag chains on Log Pro Equipment

· Received both dry veneer stackers and set Dryer No. 3 stacker in place.

· Moved Dryer No. 2 stacker into place and began reversing making modifications to stacker

· Continued installing green-end equipment downstream from lathes
