CITY OF LOUISVILLE GARBAGE PICKUP FOR THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY
The Louisville Solid Waste Garbage Pickup schedule has only been changed so that the Thursday, November 26 garbage pickup will be made on Wednesday, November 25, the day before Thanksgiving. The Friday route is not changed.

Winston Plywood Weekly Update 11-13-15
Foundations:
· Continued to set forms and install rebar on pedestals for lathe chargers
Buildings:
· Completed seaming roof panels on Buildings 3 and 4
· Continued installing wall sheets and translucent panels on Building 4
· Continued installing wall sheets on north end of Building 5
· Completed framing and began installing decking on mezzanine in Building 7
· Completed installing standing-seam roofing on Building 8
· Began installing standing-seam roof on Building 11
Fire Protection:
· Continued installing hose station piping
· Continued installing drum-drips and drains for sprinkler systems
· Continued installing underground fire loop, specifically along the north side of the existing main parking lot
· Installed two hydrants in parking lot area
· Continued installing underground sectional valve boxes
· Continued erecting fire water storage tank
Hog Room, Glue Room, and Lathe & Chipper Deck:
· Continued erecting structural steel on Glue Room
· Installed roof decking on glue rooms and hog room
· Demo’d forms on glue room containment wall and finished walls
Electrical:
· Continued electrical rough-in for lighting and miscellaneous electrical
· Completed lighting mock-up installation on building lighting; Mock-up was approved
· Continued installing cable tray throughout the plant
· Completed installing electrical switchgear in center electrical room and continued pulling primary feeders
· Began installing electrical switchgear in north electrical room
· Continued running conduit for process equipment at green-end, dryers, presses, and dry-end
· Continued installing primary underground service to transformers 9-13
Site Utilities:
· Completed installing water line from connection at City of Louisville main water line
Racetrack Piping:
· Received and installed additional sections of racetrack trusses and piping; two sections remain to be installed on east side of racetrack, as well as north and south sections of track
· Continued installing flexible connections between sections of racetrack piping
· Continued installing support hangers for branch lines from the racetrack piping
· Continued installation of branch lines for process water and air piping from racetrack
Boiler and Steam:
· Installed support structure and DA tank for boilers
Log Conditioning Vaults
· Placed stone, set forms, and began installing rebar for floor slab in holding tank for vaults
Log Pro Merchandiser:
· Received remaining embed plates and rebar for foundations
· Began grading foundation site to finish grade
Winston Plywood:
· Continued refurbishing and installing green-end equipment for both east and west lathe lines
· Continued to receive both new and used process equipment
· Continued construction of No. 3 Veneer Dryer (Dryer main framework and heating coils)
· Continued concrete base and wall modifications in Press Pit No. 3
· Continued to set layup line and finishing line equipment
Miscellaneous:
· Made tie-in at main substation for new primary electrical line to plywood plant
· Received 2.6” of rain through noon Friday of this week

Winston Plywood Weekly Update 11-06-15
Buildings:
· Continued installing wall sheets and translucent wall panels on Building 2
· Began installing wall sheets on Building 4
· Installed roof decking on Buildings 6, 6A, and 11
· Began installing standing-seam roofing on Building 8
· Completed installing wall purling on Buildings 6, 6A, 7, 8, and 11
· Continued seaming roof panels on Buildings 3 and 4
Fire Protection:
· Continued installing pipe bracings and supports throughout buildings in preparation for system testing
· Continued installing hose station piping
· Continued installing underground fire loop, specifically along the north side of the existing main parking lot
· Tied in main loop to previously installed section of piping at northwest corner of plywood plant building
· Began erecting fire water storage tank
Hog Room, Glue Room, and Lathe & Chipper Deck:
· Continued erecting structural steel on Glue Room
· Finished installing glue tanks in glue room
· Placed concrete containment wall at west section of glue room
Electrical:
· Continued electrical rough-in for lighting and miscellaneous electrical
· Began lighting mock-up installation for review and acceptance for building lighting system
· Continued installing cable tray throughout the plant
· Installed electrical switchgear in center electrical room and began pulling primary feeders
· Continued running conduit for process equipment at green-end, dryers, presses, and dry-end
· Continued installing primary underground service to transformers 9-13
Site Utilities:
· Continued installing water line from connection at City of Louisville main water line; Made hot-tap connection onto existing city water line to connect plywood plant water systems
· Installed precast meter vault, meter base, and back-flow prevention system just west of fire water storage tank
· Installed final section of storm drain piping and tied into trench drain
Racetrack Piping:
· Received and installed six additional sections of racetrack trusses and piping
· Continued installing flexible connections between sections of racetrack piping
· Continued installing support hangers for branch lines from the racetrack piping
· Began installation of branch lines for process water and air piping from racetrack
Boiler and Steam:
· Installed exhaust stacks on three boilers
· Received and staged boiler DA tank
Log Conditioning Vaults
· Continued excavation for 16’ deep concrete holding tank and reached final grade
· Continued to pump accumulated water from rains throughout the week
Log Pro Merchandiser:
· Laid out boundaries of Log Pro equipment foundations
Winston Plywood:
· Continued refurbishing and installing green-end equipment for both east and west lathe lines
· Disassembled east lathe and painted main frames
· Continued to receive both new and used process equipment
· Continued construction of No. 3 Veneer Dryer (Dryer main framework and heating system)
· Continued concrete base and wall modifications in Press Pit No. 3
· Installed press platens in Press No. 4
· Continued to set layup line and finishing line equipment in place
Miscellaneous:
· Continued construction for primary power line to WP&V site – pulled overhead transmission wiring into place along power line
· Received 2.5” of rain through noon Friday of this week

Winston Plywood Weekly Update 10-30-15
· Removed forms for sander foundation
· Connected sanitary sewer to west restrooms
· Installed grating in boiler room drains trenches
Building:
· Installed decking on Building 8
· Started installing decking on Building
· Continued installing standing seam roofing on Building 2 & 3, and started installing on Building 4
· Continued installing louvers on west wall of Building 2 and started installing on Building 4
· Started installing louvers on east wall of Building 3
· Installed framed opening for 16’ door on Building 8
· Continued installing personnel doors on Buildings 8 and 11
· Completed installing edge angles for decking on Building 8
· Continued installing wall sheets on west side of Building 1 (upper wall section)
· Continued installing wall sheets on west side of Building 2
· Started pressure washing structural steel framing
· Began installing decking on Building 6A
Fire Protection:
· Continued installing pipe bracings and supports throughout buildings
· Received partial shipment of piping for Buildings 8 & 11
Hog Room, Glue Room, and Lathe & Chipper Deck:
· Began erecting structural steel on Glue Room
· Began installing glue tanks in glue room
Electrical:
· Continued electrical rough-in for lighting and miscellaneous electrical in Buildings 1, 2, 3, 5 and 9, and continued rough-in for lighting in building 4 (Conduit and junction boxes)
· Received shipment of cable tray for electrical installations
· Started installing cable tray throughout the plant
· Completed coring for electrical in both north electrical rooms and began coring on south electrical room
· Began moving switchgear to the north electrical rooms to begin installation
· Continued running conduit for process equipment at Dryers 1 & 2
· Continued installing primary underground service to transformers (grounding only) on transformers 5-13 and started installation on transformers 1-4
Site Utilities:
· Continued installing water line from connection at City of Louisville main water line
· Continued saw-cutting paving in parking lot and installed city water approximately 95% of way across lot
Racetrack Piping:
· Received and installed four additional sections of racetrack trusses and piping
· Began installing flexible connections between sections of racetrack piping
· Started installing support hangers for branch lines from the racetrack piping
Log Conditioning Vaults
· Continued excavation for 16’ deep concrete holding tank for vault water and pumped rainwater that accumulated in excavation
Winston Plywood:
· Continued refurbishing and installing green-end equipment for both east and west lathe lines· Continued to receive used process equipment
· Continued construction of No. 3 Veneer Dryer (Dryer main framework)
· Completed press pit foundation modifications on Presses No. 1 and 3
· Continued press pit foundation modifications on Press No. 2
· Installed press columns, base, frame and platens on Press No. 1; Installed press columns, base, and top frame on Press No. 4
· Continued modifications to veneer lathes
Miscellaneous:
· Continued construction for primary power line to WP&V site
