Tax Levy For Fiscal Year 2015-2016

RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, MISSISSIPPI FIXING THE LEVY

FOR TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2015-2016


WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Louisville, Mississippi, resolve that, at this time, the meeting held on the 1st day of September, 2015 is the proper time at which a levy of taxes to raise revenues for the City should be made as provided by laws under Section 21-33-45 and 27-39-307, Mississippi Code 1972, Annotated, and for Mississippi Adequate Education Program revenues, under Section 37-57-105, Mississippi Code 1972, Annotated, for School District revenues, all Laws of the State of Mississippi.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that taxes be and the same are hereby levied for the purpose of raising revenues for the City of Louisville and the Louisville Municipal School District of Winston County, Mississippi, for the fiscal year 2015-2016 as follows:

Louisville Municipal School District Maintenance requirements
(Section 37-57-104 thru 107, Mississippi Code1972, Annotated) 55.24 mills
Louisville Municipal School District Debt Service requirements
(Section 37-57-108, Mississippi Code 1972, Annotated)            3.00 mills
For the School                        58.24 mills

For General Revenue Purposes and for General Improvements
(Section 21-33-45 and 27-39-307, Mississippi Code 1972, Annotated)      19.00 mills
For Park and Cemetery Maintenance (Section 21-33-45 and
27-39-307, Mississippi Code 1972, Annotated)                                              1.00 mills
For Library Maintenance (Section 21-33-45 and 27-39-307,
Mississippi Code 1972, Annotated)  3.00 mills
For the City                 23.00 mills

                     Total Tax Levy to be collected        81.24 Mills

ADOPTED, this the 1st day of September 2015, by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Louisville.
