Winston Plywood Progress report - 8-14-2015

Foundations:

·         Excavated, placed reinforcing, and placed concrete for boiler room drain trenches
·         Excavated, placed reinforcing, and placed concrete bottoms for Building 4 and for dryer drains
·         Set edge forms for Building 4
·         Set edge forms for Slab-on-grade for Buildings 6, 6A and 7.
·         Placed forms and rebar for chipper foundation in Building 10

Building:

·         Continued placing insulation and standing-seam roof on Building 5
·         Installed roof insulation and vapor barrier on south end of Building 1 (hip-roof section)
·         Began installing standing-seam roof on south end of Building 1
·         Completed installation of B-Decking on Building 3 (East side of building)
·         Stood all perimeter wall columns on Building 2 at Column Line A (West wall of building)
·         Received structural steel and B-decking for Building 4

Fire Protection:

·         Completed installing sprinkler system in Building 1
·         Completed installing sprinkler system in Buildings 9 & 10
·         Performed layout for sprinklers in south end of Building 3
·         Received and staged materials for sprinkler system in Building 3
·         Began assembly of risers for currently installed systems

Electrical:

·         Continued installing primary-power duct banks at transformers 1-4
·         Placed additional foundations for transformers and switches at transformers 1-9
·         Began grounding installing grounding for transformers and switches 1-9

Site & Utilities:

·         Continued excavation, undercut, and backfill at site of new parking lot extension (south of existing main parking lot

RTO Relocation:

·         Formed, placed, and finished RTO foundation slab
·         Placed RTO support columns (12)
·         Prepared area around the existing and new RTO foundations to allow for transport and setting of the existing RTO on new foundations
·         Cut loose supports from RTO in existing location in preparation for moving to new foundations

Winston Plywood

·         Continued refurbishing existing veneer dryers
·         Received veneer stacker
·         Established layout and control lines for installation of equipment at west lathe line
