COMMUNITY RECOVERY OPEN HOUSES- Friday August 15

Input, Innovation, and Ideas Welcomed at Two Upcoming
COMMUNITY RECOVERY OPEN HOUSES
Hosted by the Strategic Community Recovery Planning Team

A group of citizens, local government representatives, and business owners have joined together to form the Louisville/Winston County Strategic Community Recovery Planning Team (SCRPT) for the purpose of creating a strategy for community recovery in the aftermath of the tornadoes that struck in late April of this year. A meeting in the Winston County Courthouse on Tuesday night brought together over forty of these individuals who created three Recovery Committees; Business/Economic Development Committee, Community & Medical Services Committee, and Housing Recovery Committee.

On Thursday August 14 from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM and then from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, the (SCRPT) will host an Open House in the Winston Court House Annex, located at 115 South Court Street, Louisville. The public is invited to learn about the strategic recovery planning process and share their ideas and input on ways they would like to see the community of Louisville rebuild and recovery from the tornado damage.

If you would like more information on the Open House please contact City Hall at 662-773-9201
